Even busy New York nightlife can't stop our man Chan in his relentless pursuit of wrongdoers and evil-thinkers. In this caper he thwarts a nightclub singer's plans to reveal criminals listed in her diary. Of course the diary turns up missing and the canary turns up dead. New York locale provides some glitz, and swiftly paced dialog in the modern manner makes this one better than average. leave a comment
