A fragmentary film diary of ex-junkie Rooks in which scenes are strung together in a meaningless, stream-of-consciousness manner. Alternating between reality and hallucination, The film parallels Rooks' life in Paris with memories of his childhood in Chappaqua, New York. The film is a weak
effort of drug-influenced free association. It includes a hypnotic score by sitar player Ravi Shankar.
