Chain Letters

Intrigue in Yuppieland, as nine Manhattan residents receive a series of chain letters from unknown sources. The mysterious letters lead to love for some and death for others. Another strange feature from Mark Rappaport, a leading New York independent director well known for his offbeat subjects and style, CHAIN LETTERS suffers at times from some condescending attitudes. More often than not, however, Rappaport captures a genuine feel for the craziness of New York City.
