Cause For Alarm

Fast-moving thriller about Sullivan, a madly jealous man, who is recuperating after some heart problems. Physically he is improving, but mentally he is a wreck, and he fantasizes that his wife, Young, is having an affair with Cowling, Sullivan's trusted physician. He gets so crazed that he writes a letter accusing Young and Cowling of killing him. No sooner does Young mail it for him than he tells her what he's done. Now he assaults her and the exertion proves too much and he drops dead of a heart attack. Young gets frantic. She knows the letter was sent to the district attorney.
