A couple of wave-catching lads get tired of hanging-ten and turn their attention to sleuthing. While trying to retrieve a rare Chinese scroll from a gang of art thieves, they see lots of sand, teenyboppers, and beach party rock 'n' roll. Little Richard provides the only highlight with a
rendition of "Scuba Party," Carol Connors sings "Book of Love," and the Cascades croon "There's a New World Opening for Me." Mary Wells sings the title cut over the credits.
