A trainload of people are contaminated by terrorists seeking the release of prisoners and other sanctions. The bizarre and unbelievable plot is further confused by Lancaster, a military man who purposely tries to send the train across a condemned wooden trestle to certain disaster, putting shock troops on board to kill anyone who attempts to stop the plan wherein all passengers will die (not that this will stop the disease; it is designed to besmirch the terrorists).
