A time-zone comedy, with Winters leading a British cast to give the film US appeal. Winters is an American nightclub singer who is informed that she will inherit a fortune if her ex-husband has not fathered a male heir by a certain date. Zipping over to London to track him down, she finds him remarried and his wife expecting any day. Typical complications ensue regarding the possible sex of the child, the legitimacy of the marriage and the divorce, and the time difference between New York and London.
