Courtroom tedium that has a framed woman, Carroll, on and off the stand, first for the murder of her husband and then for custody of her son. A suspicious assistant DA, Brent, uncovers another lawyer's rascally plan to frame Carroll, and the corrupt lawyer kills himself upon discovery.
As expected, Brent finds himself falling for Carroll, allowing for a few scenes outside of the courthouse.
