Casanova

A destructive film that demystifies the legend of famed bedroom performer Casanova with every frame. Inspired by Fellini's reading of "The History of My Life," Casanova's biography, this film takes place in bedrooms from his native Venice to Paris, Germany, London, Austria, and Rome. Filmed in English, a language foreign to Fellini, Casanova is an exercise in detachment--both of the character from his surroundings and of the director from the audience.
