No masterpiece here, but the improvement over the usual "Carry On" comedy probably stems from a switch of writers in which Rothwell replaced Norman Hudis. Successful entrepreneur James's fleet of taxis has made him a prosperous man-- much to the dismay of his lonely wife, Jacques, who is sick of her husband's spending all his time at work.
