THE CARPENTER, a slow-paced, low-budget entry from Canada, focuses on a young couple, Alice (Lynne Adams) and Martin (Pierre Lenoir), who move into a new home in a strange suburban neighborhood only to be visited by the ghost of the previous resident, a carpenter (Wings Hauser) who was executed for murder.
