Average wartime Kay Kyser musical sees the band leader returning from a lengthy USO tour and stopping off at a stateside war plant for a quick show. Enter Moore, a poor relation of the plant's owner, who persuades Kyser to hire his daughter, Miller, to replace his vocalist who has quit the
show for matrimony. Kyser falls for Miller while playing a series of musical numbers which include "Thinkin' About the Wabash," "There Goes That Song Again," and the satirical "Mr. Beebe." Moore provides the comedy relief by playing all the roles in a scene involving his wealthy relatives, male
and female, through trick photography. Decent little outing.
