Contrived love triangle melodrama concerning a famed actor and his wife whom he suspects of being unfaithful. Action takes place during a Venetian carnival and the climax sees the actor going mad and almost strangling his wife on stage while playing the closing act of "Othello." After
the curtain falls, the actor regains his senses and apologizes to his wife when she insists she did him no wrong. The couple is reconciled and the whole silly thing comes to a close. Unusual use of color during a fireworks sequence at the carnival distracts more than it enhances the film.
