Very early talkie stars Dove as the wife of a French magistrate stationed in French Indochina who is being held back in his career by an unscrupulous boss. His boss only promotes those men whose wives succumb to his amorous advances; Dove refuses to capitulate and storms into the creep's office to demand an explanation regarding the held-up promotion.
