Career Woman: Review
Trevor stars as a young law school graduate who returns to her small home town to defend a poor girl, Jewell, who is accused of murdering her father. Flamboyant lawyer Waldron arrives on the scene and helps Trevor win the case after a series of great character actors (Holloway, Lockhart, Field, Brophy, and Williams) have a chance to show their stuff on the witness stand. Uneven mix of comedy and serious drama is helped by competent direction and a professional cast.
