Overblown tugboat tale concerning the efforts of rival tug operators Darwell and Kennedy to win a big shipping contract. Along the way, romance blooms between tugboat office secretary Blake and ex-convict Gordon, who wants to make good his rehabilitation. Berkova, a child violinist, is
worked into the story as Darwell's charge. The rival operators finally put aside their differences to combat a deadly waterfront fire. A good comedy performance from Kennedy helps maintain this fairly uninteresting story.
