Captain Pirate

This average adventure yarn details the return of famed doctor turned pirate Capt. Blood (Hayward) to the high seas. Hayward is peacefully retired in the West Indies when he is captured and accused of piracy. Helped by his fiancee, Medina, and his old pirate gang, Hayward attempts to clear his name. He steals a ship and tracks down the scoundrel who has been posing as him, Sutton, dueling with the imposter to the death. Justice triumphs, Hayward marries Medina, and he returns to his idyllic existence. Good action scenes and likable performances by the principals.
