Captain Hurricane: Review

Dull melodrama starring Barton as a crusty sailor who hangs out with his sailor buddies, Lockhart and Travers. Barton's old flame finally agrees to live with him, but only as a housekeeper. This strains the relationship of the male trio, which is only worsened when a young beauty, Mack, is washed ashore and adopted by Barton. The sailors make a play for her, but she falls for a city slicker and takes off with him. Soon after, the city boy returns and financially aids the struggling sailors making everyone happy. Just plain stupid. leave a comment
