A bombastic, pretentious adaptation of Terry Southern's satirical sex novel boiled down to a series of episodic guest shots by major movie stars. Aulin stars as the incredibly naive and innocent title character who is chased by alcoholic poet Burton, Mexican gardener Starr, right-wing general Matthau, bizarre guru Brando, hunchback Aznavour, and even her own father, Astin. Along the way she also encounters eccentric doctor Coburn, crazed hospital administrator Huston, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Rolling Stones groupie Pallenborg.
