Okay adventure yarn starring Bogarde as the grandson of an old eccentric who has left him a valley known as Campbell's Kingdom, which the old man claimed held a fortune in oil. Bogarde believes in his grandfather's hunch, but conflict arises when unscrupulous contractor Baker attempts to flood the valley to power his new hydroelectric dam. To fight Baker, Bogarde organizes a scruffy army of volunteers who plan an elaborate series of explosions, setting off landslides which destroy the dam. Love interest for Bogarde comes in the form of local saloon girl Murray, who stands by her man as he actually does strike oil on his grandfather's property. Good cast and fairly exciting action sequences help to mask some of the more predictable elements of the plot line. leave a comment
