You Came Along

YOU CAME ALONG tugs at the old heartstrings as three fliers--Cummings, the fun-loving major; DeFore, the intellect; and Drake, the guy with the looks--embark on a promotional tour for bonds with Scott as their guide. Cummings falls in love with Scott, though he keeps her in the dark about his battle with leukemia. They wed, but Scott is soon widowed and consoled by Cummings' fellow fliers.
