Bland and Gordon are bookies with an unusual, slightly illegal method of picking winners at the racetrack. Eventually big-time gamblers force them to leave the city and relocate. They find a smaller town and a racetrack and go back into business, encountering a few of the local crazies. After a few wacky escapades the film winds down in an amiable ending.
