In this delightful spoof of the early TV Hopalong Cassidy craze, TV promoters Mike Frye (Fred MacMurray) and Deborah Patterson (Dorothy McGuire) are handed the assignment of finding "Smoky" Callaway, a yesteryear star of B westerns who has become an overnight smash, with millions of
