O'Brien is a tough magazine editor who gives a thumbs-down review to Mexican dancer Del Rio, but before long he falls in love with her. Needless to say, the plot is thin. It's the Busby Berkeley dance routines, however, that make the film worthwhile. Musical numbers include "The Lady In Red," "To Call You My Own," "In Caliente" (Mort Dixon, Allie Wrubel), and "Muchacha" (Al Dubin, Harry Warren). leave a comment
