The Calendar

Uninspired remake of the tepid 1931 British melodrama of the same title. A different cast and crew don't seem to spark ant life into the elements that were lacking in the first version. Plot concerns the efforts of a crooked servant of racehorse owner McCallum to convince his boss to throw a race. No improvement.
