Overly talky turn-of-the-century musical about a group of young hopefuls whose paths cross at the local boardinghouse run by kind-hearted Miss Rich. Among the boarders seeking fame and fortune in New York are artist Ellison, composer Marshall, and the woman they fight over, Frazee.
