Calabuch

A strange little comedy starring Gwenn as a famous atomic scientist who tries to escape the terrible nuclear world he has helped create by vacationing in a small village on the Spanish seaside. The villagers accept him and make him one of their own. Gwenn relaxes and enjoys his idyllic existence away from the "bomb" until he is discovered and brought back to civilization. Most of the humor is derived from playful criticisms of Spanish institutions, e.g., bullfighting, the police, and the government.
