Typical screwball comedy starring MacMurray as a shipboard news reporter who meets high-society gal Carroll. Carroll seduces MacMurray by having him take cheesecake photographs of her and soon the couple elope. MacMurray is shocked to find out that the only reason for the hasty marriage is
that Carroll wanted to get her name in Joslyn's society column. The comedy then degenerates into the usual "Taming of the Shrew" antics with heavy participation from Gillingwater as the rich girl's uncle. Good cast rescues the trite material.
