Manfredi is a vendor who illegally peddles coffee aboard Italian express trains. He is hounded by conductors and bureaucrats at every turn but outwits them easily. This decent comedy owes much to BREAD AND CHOCOLATE, which also starred Manfredi, but lacks the earlier film's political subtext. Manfredi's performance carries the film. leave a comment
