A harmless little musical boasting nothing more than a pleasant pair as leads. Set against a backdrop of military academies and big bands, brothers Montgomery and Shepperd inconveniently fall for vocalist Landis. As expected from a wartime film about cadets and girls, the brothers choose West Point over Landis. Sugared with a dose of flag-waving songs "Uncle Sam Gets Ahead" and "She's a Good Neighbor" CADET GIRLS is best described by another of its jingoistic jingles, "It Happened, It's Over, Let's Forget." leave a comment
