Sex farces about randy young men are a dime a dozen, but while most are forgettable this one is memorable for all the wrong reasons. After living together for five years, Los Angeles-based David (Jerry O'Connell) and Sarah (Bridgette Wilson) agree to a trial separation. Annoyed by David's inability to commitment, Sarah accepts a job in New York, where she becomes the object of her boss's affection. The horny-but-shy David, meanwhile, can't wait to play the field and tries the personals as a way of getting back into the dating scene.
