Burning Secret

BURNING SECRET opens in Vienna 1926 at the home of a diplomat (Richardson) and his wife (Dunaway). Due to the icy Richardson, the relationship is a loveless one, and Dunaway welcomes the opportunity to get away, taking her 12-year-old son (Eberts) to an opulent Austrian health spa where he will be treated for a severe case of asthma. At the spa, a kindly baron (Brandauer) is being treated for a wound sustained in WW I, and it isn't long before the man captivates both mother and son.
