When senior citizen Davis is evicted by unsympathetic banker Robinson, she teams up with plumber Borgnine, a former thief, and the pair decide to start a bank-robbing career dressed as hippies. The two are found out but, through an ironic twist of fate, are freed. The former crooks then decide to settle down and get married.
