Spaghetti western starring Hilton as a Confederate deserter who travels to Mexico to be with his girl. The girl, the daughter of feared bandit Borgnine, is about to give birth to their child. Along the way Hilton picks up two more deserters, De Mendozo and Pico, and they arrive at Borgnine's village during a cholera epidemic. The girl has already died, and Borgnine, who has always hated the gringo, hands him the baby and tells him to vamoose. Hilton, taking his son, must move quickly, for the Confederate army and the epidemic are hot on his heels. The child falls ill, but none of the villagers or ranchers in the area will help. One rancher breaks a bottle of milk right in front of Hilton, who goes on to seek revenge. He takes his gang, which now inludes a monk, Anchoriz, and goes on the rampage. They return to the nasty rancher and drown him in a bucket of milk, forcing his family to watch. He then seeks out and murders all others who refused him aid. Along the way the gang finds time to get in some robbing, drinking, and whoring. Hilton finally catches up with Borgnine, and the two, armed with knives, show down in a bull's corral. Borgnine falls under the bull's horns, and the Mexican army invades the stadium and surrounds the gang. This typically bloody European oater is well staged and has some good but unusual action scenes. However, poor English dubbing almost ruins the movie. leave a comment
