Just as Bulldog Drummond (Howard) and Phyllis Clavering (Angel) are about to exchange their long-awaited wedding vows, the ceremony is interrupted by the news that Colonel Nielson (Warner), Drummond's erstwhile friend and colleague, has been kidnaped and spirited off to the dark continent. Drummond springs into action and, accompanied by Phyllis, Algy (Denny), and Tenny (Clive), he flies off to Africa. Meanwhile, Nielson's captors try to torture him into revealing top-secret information about a radio-wave disintegrator, binding him to a stake and surrounding him with hungry lions. Good atmosphere and direction puts this a notch above the usual Bulldog fare. leave a comment
