Bulldog Drummond Comes Back

Anxious to wreak vengeance on Bulldog Drummond (Howard), who had brought about the execution of one of their kin, two evildoers lure the witty detective-adventurer into a trap by apprehending his beloved Phyllis Clavering (Campbell). After being put through the wringer in his pursuit, Drummond, too, becomes their captive, but when it looks bleakest for the gallant gentleman, Colonel Neilson (Barrymore) appears--in disguise, of course--to free Drummond and nab the villains.
