Last Of The Buccaneers

Henreid plays the legendary pirate of the Gulf of Mexico, Lafitte. This tale occurs after the British have been driven from New Orleans with the help of the pirate. Henreid is unable to retain his boats from the American government, so he and his men capture one and set up shop on a small island off the coast. The government lets the pirates go on with their plundering as long as they lay off American ships. Unfortunately, one of Henreid's pirate captains raids an American ship, forcing Henreid and his eloquent bride-to-be, Booth, to escape to safety. Action is well paced, with the cast giving adequate performances.
