Evans is a trick-shot artist who falls in love with blues singer Desni. When he leaves her, his brother (Glenville) falls for her, though she has set her sights on a rich man. One night, during their act, the distraught Glenville makes a wrong move and is shot by Evans. Wrongly believing
his brother dead, Evans turns the gun on Desni, then himself. Lurid melodrama kept afloat by a decent cast.
