Broadway Melody Of 1938

Robert Taylor and Eleanor Powell return in this "Broadway Melody" film, in which producer Steve Raleigh (Robert Taylor), in desperate need of funds for his new musical, is rescued after the racehorse owned by the show's star, Sally Lee (Powell), wins at Saratoga. The slim plot barely accommodates the film's overabundance of song-and-dance numbers.
