In the last days of World War II, the Allied Army desperately searched for a bridge across the impenetrable Rhein River in order to launch a major assault into the center of Germany. "The Bridge at Remagen" tells the true story of the battle for this last bridgehead, from both the German and American perspective...with the Americans trying to take the bridge at any cost and the Germans attempting to blow it up without trapping their troops on the wrong side of the river.
