Peel is a teenager who has somehow inherited the trademark of the vampire Dracula. Mother Hunt takes note, locks him in the family castle to hide their secret, and goes about snaring victims for his ravenous appetite. She eventually becomes her son's victim. Peel is later aided in his
escape by school teacher Monlaur, who is in love with him. Cushing saves Monlaur from marriage to the vampire and the rest of the village too when he drives a wooden stake into Peel's heart. Chilling special effects highlight a rather gory production.
