This is the thinly plotted story of a young, working-class couple, Barbara Stanwyck and Gene Raymond, who separate after she begins to spend much more than he earns. She latches onto Robert Young, a rich man who can provide her with the stylish clothes she desires, and jilted husband Raymond plans to forget his dilemma by running off to South America.
