Blue-eyed Ray plays a Mexican boy who saves his pet bull from demise in the bull ring by obtaining a pardon from the president. Real-life drama purposefully directed by Rapper and filmed by Cardiff. This film warms the heart with sensitivity and sweetness. Trumbo (who won the Best Story Oscar that year) wrote this script under the pseudonym Robert Rich since he was then under a blacklist because of his HUAC experiences. Oscar nominated for Best Sound and Best Film Editing. leave a comment
