1951, Movie, NR, 79 mins

An amusing little comedy about a young couple on a yachting vacation who suddenly become involved with a brandy smuggler. Soon events require the couple to flee cross-country, chased by customs men. One of many little films concerning alcohol smuggling that Britain churned out during this period. This one's not the best, but it's far from the worst. Famed documentarist Grierson had a hand in this government-subsidized production. leave a comment
