Psychiatrist Allan discovers, by using an electroencephalograph, that amnesia victim Reed has the mind of a psychopathic murderer. She reports her findings to the police, but they show no interest--until her patient kidnaps her and escapes from the hospital. In their search for Allan, the
cops follow a trail of bloody gang violence having to do with drug smuggling. Hughes' screenplay and direction yield above-average performances.
