Rogers, a mild-mannered fellow studying law in the Old West, drifts into a small town where tyrannical outlaw boss Caruso rules with an iron hand. Irritated by Caruso's corruption, Rogers agrees to act as sheriff and rounds up the desperado gang using only his lariat and his faith in the Lord.
