This behind-the-scenes show-business tale misses on nearly every level, despite the earnestness of its attempts to show Hollywood sleaze. The poor script, direction, and acting are made only worse by the film's would-be topical insider's references (which, given the rapid turnover in Hollywood, were already dated at the time of its release).
