When a sexploitation flick manages to seamlessly weave the mandatory flesh-peddling into the narrative, one feels so grateful that a celebration seems in order. Marred by run-of-the-mill direction and production values, this steamy flick nevertheless motivates its characters and only cuts away to copulation scenes that express their key passions. Frustrated and bored by her marriage to handsome workaholic David (Tim Agee), Reggie (Kathy Shower) can't resist the enticements of former AC/DC gal-pal Beth. Succumbing to lust, Reggie visits an "Explorers' Club," where exhibitionist sex comprises the floorshow; swept away, Reggie makes a public spectacle of herself with club stud Jake (Chris Johnston). Even after Jake dates her naïve sister, Reggie can't help showing up at the club in her nightie. Proving he's human as his wife, David succumbs to the repeated unsolicited attentions of his curvaceous secretary Janet (Carolyne Smith), who seems to think crotch-grabbing is in her job description. To show her gratitude, Janet launches a sexual harassment lawsuit, gets David canned, and accepts his job. But wait, there's more -- it turns out Janet hired Jake and Beth to seduce Reggie ruin David's marriage, so David would be ripe for seduction. Can Reggie and David turn the tables on their tormentors? Filtering in a few nasty surprises about human behavior, this seamy exercise in office politics hammers home its adage: Just because you can't trust someone doesn't mean they aren't terrific in bed. Desire is the great leveler in this lurid movie, which fuels its narrative with its characters' raging hormones. Although colorlessly acted, it never resorts to the usual irritating flashbacks or inappropriate fantasy sequences. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
