Tough, somewhat dishonest, but kind-hearted actors' agent Tracy convinces a film studio that Mundin and Paterson are a famous English lord and his daughter, anxious to get into American pictures. In reality, the two Britons are simple entertainers, but Tracy's plan works and the two become relatively successful. When Paterson strikes up a romance with box-office heart-throb Boles, Mundin, Tracy, and their crony Silvers all get fairly lucrative offers from the studio and decide that Paterson's qualities of innocence and honesty are the most beneficial qualities of all.
