George Segal is very good in this black comedy about heroin addiction. An ex-hairdresser, he turns to crime to support a $100-a-day habit, gets arrested, and is released to work as an informant. The script is full of inconsistencies, and the humor is strictly of the New York nebbish
school, but it's well worth checking out. The first American film by Czech director Passer.
